Dr. Elena Vaynshtok is a dedicated and experienced physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and pediatric rehabilitation. She is the founder and owner of Prime Fitness Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, an outpatient orthopedic clinic she established in 2007. With over two decades of expertise, Dr. Vaynshtok has been committed to helping individuals of all ages—from newborns to adults—achieve optimal movement and functional independence.
Dr. Vaynshtok earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Long Island University (LIU) in 2001 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005. Her passion for treating diverse populations has guided her career, with early intervention pediatric and orthopedic physical therapy being a significant focus since 2001. She has consistently maintained active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since the start of her career.
As a leader in her field, Dr. Vaynshtok has pursued extensive certifications to enhance her clinical expertise. She is a certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner and a fully certified Pilates Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Polestar Pilates program, proficient in both floor and all equipment modalities, including the Reformer, Chair, and Cadillac. Additionally, she holds credentials as an Advanced Schroth Physical Therapist from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School and Scoliosis and Spine Online Learning. She is also a Rehabilitation Hip Preservation Certified Clinician through the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and is currently working toward her Advanced Orthopedic Triage Certification (AOTC)™.
Dr. Vaynshtok has a special clinical focus on pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports and injury recovery (including gymnastics and dance), scoliosis, and pediatric physical therapy, from birth through adulthood. As a member of the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Network, she collaborates with top specialists to ensure comprehensive, individualized care for her patients.
When not treating patients, Elena values family time with her husband and three daughters, traveling, reading, staying active through exercise, and continuously expanding her professional knowledge to stay at the forefront of her field. Dr. Vaynshtok's passion for movement science, rehabilitation, and patient care ensures that every patient receives compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to their goals.

Elena Pshenkovska, MS, OTR/L – Certified Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Specialist
Elena Pshenkovska is a licensed occupational therapist who graduated from Mercy College in 2012. She has extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings, including skilled nursing facilities and private practices. In 2023, Elena completed specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, earning her certification in this advanced area of practice. Since then, Elena has been in private practice, focusing on pelvic floor therapy for individuals dealing with issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, postpartum recovery challenges, and core muscle dysfunction. Her holistic and individualized approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques that support long-term functional improvement and overall well-being. Pelvic floor rehabilitation offers patients a non-invasive and effective path to recovery by strengthening the pelvic muscles, improving coordination, and reducing pain. This therapy can lead to better bladder and bowel control, enhanced sexual health, and improved quality of life.
Wioletta Swiech, PTA
In 2004 Wioletta graduated with honors from LaGuardia Community College from the Associate of Applied Science: Physical Therapy Assistant program. In 2013 she graduated from Touro College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Wioletta has over 15 years of experience in delivering quality care focused on superior outcomes in patients mobility, functional abilities and quality of life. Wioletta provides treatment to patients with orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, post arthroscopic surgeries, arthritis, acute and chronic pains. Wioletta also has passion for treating patients with vestibular disorders such as BPPV, Ménière's disease, migraine-associated vertigo and other vestibular dysfunctions such as from aging (dizziness and imbalance). Wioletta likes to make physical therapy a fun and pleasant experience for all patients while helping them attain their goals. Wioletta enjoys spending free time with her kids playing basketball, biking and roller skating. Wioletta completed numerous manual courses such as Comprehensive Manual Therapy for Lumbar and Cervical Pathology, Comprehensive Manual Therapy for Upper and Lower Extremity Pathology as well as An Intensive Training on MyoFascial Trigger Point Therapy and MyoFascial Release courses. Selina Guevara, PTA
Selina Guevara completed her Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Riverside College Inc. in the Philippines in 2020 and became a licensed Physical Therapist in 2021. In 2023, she moved to the United States to expand her career. Currently, she works as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant while pursuing her full Physical Therapist license.
Selina is particularly passionate about helping elderly patients and those recovering from surgery, finding it deeply rewarding to assist them in regaining their strength and mobility. Outside of work, she enjoys running and watching documentaries. She is also an animal lover and sometimes volunteers with a dog rescue group in New York City.
